Felt incredibly luxurious and well cared for. Beautiful property, well located, comfortable rooms. Thoughtful touches throughout from basic policies like having anything you need (from bug spray to beach towels) ready to go to a daily happy hour at just the right time. The team at the front desk helped us with reservations, booked boat tours and snorkeling outings and helped coordinate spa services. Communication was prompt and clear and gracious. Would highly recommend for families looking for a truly relaxing resort. No joke, after we were shown through the property and to our rooms my family all ran up to hug me and thank me for booking us at this place.

We have stayed at the Phoenix 4 times now. I cannot express how wonderful it is each and every time. I just gets better! Our 5 year old son spends the majority of his time with Ms. Cindy in the Kid's Club, giving the adults some much needed relaxation. I am never worried about his safety or wellbeing. I cannot say more wonderful things about the front desk staff. They organize everything - from dinner reservations to full day tours on the mainland - they even checked in on us one day in the middle of our tour to make sure it was going ok. Even if the resort is full, it never feels crowded. This place is a treasure, and we will continue to go back year after year.

The Phoenix resort was wonderful. Beautiful views, relaxing modern accommodations, and a warm and welcoming staff. Nicely situated in the middle of town so we could get to what we wanted to easily and weirdly no city noise—which I was a bit worried about.

No beach really but San Pedro isn’t really a traditional beach town. Do your research, the “beaches” are public and the water invites all. Of course the pools were fabulous and inviting so make your own choice of how you plan to get wet—public or private.

I appreciated the easy communication with the staff via WhatsApp. Having the Red Ginger restaurant on premise was great for when we weren’t up for going out to the wonderful nearby local spots. The icing on top was the on premise spa and the free daily activity you could sign up for. Definitely would go back.
