Wow! This GA state park was the best we have encountered yet in our camping ventures! There are two campground loops...one with full hookup and the other with electric and water only! The sites are larger than most state parks! Several large Class A had plenty of space to park. Very clean and customer service exceptional! Beware that gnats and flys will drive you crazy is the only drawback to our stay...even in November.

Visited this state park to see the gopher tortoises, but sadly they were not to be found, even though we scanned every inch of the gopher tortoise loop. Other than that the state park was pretty average, albeit it pretty situated on a river.

The playgrounds were safe and fun for smaller kids. There's plenty of room for kids to run and play. Great place to go!

Very nice State Park with a great campground. Large camp sites on level ground. Some have sewer hookups as well. Great place to ride bikes. Nature trails that are easy walks, lots of birds. Nice lake for fishing. A mini golf course and horseshoe plot. Very friendly camp hosts as well. Nice place to spend a weekend camping.

We camped here in our motorhome. Very nice state park. A lot of the sites are shaded. We had a very large site with full hook-ups
