Wonderful service

I had been in this hotel many time for events -- first time staying a few nights. Great room, clean, good amenities.

Isabel at the front desk was excellent. She clearly walked me through everything on the front end -- including how the $20 hotel fee allows me to get a $20 credit each day. At the end, she made check out super easy and assured me I was all good.

Very good stay.

The worst Hilton experience

Checking into the room was like moving into a youth hostel room. There were no toiletries and I had to ask for everything. Even a kettle seemed like a special privilege. On top of that, my room was not cleaned or made up for the day I was, and on calling housekeeping once I returned in the evening, I was told everyone had gone home and its too late. The heating in the room sounds like a railway engine is getting started. This was by far the worst Hilton hotel experience I have every had.

That said, we apologize for the lapses and resulting inconvenience as it certainly is not typical of the services we provide, we take this service lapse very seriously. I am so sorry you ran into these challenges.

Greatest hotel ever!!!!!!

The staff was amazingly perfect!! They went above and beyond to help me out in a dire situation. I missed my train and was having the worst vacation ever. The staff helped me out so much I had to choke back the tears lol this place was perfect!!!! If I ever come to D.C. again this is were I'll be staying! Thank you so much! 20/10!!!!

Room tip: Stay at this hotel!!!! The staff, the restaurant, the rooms, all of it was perfect!!!!

Excellent stay at a classic Hilton with courteous staff

I enjoy staying at the Washing Hilton per its location in a walkable and beautiful neighborhood, amazing views of the city, super helpful and accommodating staff, and central location for ease of access to many business and tourist attractions in DC.

Solid property with very long hallways

Provides what you'd expect from a Hilton. Just keep in mind that the hotel is huge, so you might be looking at a several minute walk between the time you leave your room and the time you are on Connecticut Avenue.
