The front desk was not very accommodating with the exception of the manger Megan who was on duty. No breakfast or happy hour was tough but the pool was also closed often due to private swim lessons, which is very frustrating to our family.

Disgusting. Even as the hotel played loops on every television about how they are deep cleaning, our first room reeked of cigarette smoke. We immediately requested a new room and said we understood these things happen. But the second room was filthy. Smeared food dried onto the front of the tv stand, toothpaste on the bathroom mirror, hair in the tub, fingerprints and smears on every mirror and surface. The microwave was so filthy on the outside we didn’t use it. After three tries (and fails) to get the room cleaned, I asked for compensation. Thankfully, they agreed and comped the two night stay. Despite that, we will never stay there again. Shame onHilton and Embassy for making this trip frustrating and fearful during Covid.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable but not as clean as I hoped for. Will probably choose another hotel for my next DC stay. I appreciated the location and being in the center of everything I wanted to get to. I missed the breakfast but I was warned ahead of time.

We stayed here one night because it is the closest hotel to Sibley Hospital. The hotel has no COVID check (temperature or questions) at registration.

Nowhere on their website, on their confirmation, nor at check-in does it indicate the hotel"s COVID status. Their restaurant and room service are shut down. The 'complimentary breakfast' consists of voucher for a plastic bag with piece of Sara Lee poundcake, a small apple and a dry granola bar with water. The Starbucks in the building is permanently closed. The only food outlet left in the building is a Cheesecake Factory.

Chevy Chase pavilion in which the hotel is located (as well as much of the surrounding high end retail district) is now a ghost town. After a long day, we had to walk a distance for just a sandwich.

The suite itself is large and was clean with good lighting. Parking is overpriced at $32/day. The front desk staff consisted of one person who was inattentive; we wouldn't have known about the lack of food availability unless we asked.

As an Honors member, I was expecting at least a few bottles of bottled water in the room as usual.

This hotel misrepresents the amenities, restaurants, house keeping, basically everything they have during the Covid pandemic. They also have swim lessons going on in the pool which limits paying customers from using it. You have to walk at least 45 blocks just to get a cuppa coffee. Don’t do it
