Great older hotel, right in the heart of the Capitol. easy walking distance to all the facilities where I did business. Also, conveniently located for a quick walk to some great dining areas. Will definitely stay here again for any future visits.
Excellent hotel close to many museums and monuments that Washington has to offer. There is the added bonus of a simple but filling breakfast. The staff are delightful and welcoming. Great place for tourist and business visits alike. Close to Union Station if travelling by train
Wonderful hotel with great staff. Beds are comfy and I love hotels that use Loccitane toiletry products!
Rooms are incredibly spacious. I was very amazed at all that was provided for the nightly rate. Additional plus, multiple restaurants within walking distance.

Bathroom below par…. toilet didn’t work well, and the toilet seat did not fit the toilet. Sink had limitations as well. Overall, the bathroom experience was not good.
Room was not serviced 1 day, and 2nd day, coffee was not replenished. It’s the little things that make a difference.
Bicycles were free to use.
Breakfast was in separate building and had good options each day.
What a fantastic location - within walking distance of Union St station, all the landmarks, Eastern market, and in a neighbourhood that felt safe.
All of the staff I interacted with were courteous and helpful.
Great to have kitchenette facilities, and pretty spacious room.
Bikes for use a big bonus in this very bikeable city
