I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel. There was no alarm clock, there was a button on the remote for the Ch. Guide but you had to click on Ch. 2 for the guide which the person who was at the front desk wasn't aware of and was referred to the maintenance man to tell me where it was . The wake up button on the phone wasn't working and the person at the front desk didn't know how to do it and left post it notes for the wake up calls. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. I also requested NO housekeeping and the last 2 days of my stay they left notes saying that they were sorry they missed me. The room was larger than expected as it had a bed and a living room area.

Very disappointed in the quality of the hotel. We were informed at check in that due to staffing issues, housekeeping would be every other day, ok no problem. Housekeeping NEVER showed up. We had to call the front desk THREE times to ask for fresh towels and for our trash to be taken out before someone finally showed up. I do not recommend Hyatt, at all.

The location of this hotel was great for all of the sites on the national mall. We were able to walk to nearly every location during our stay and we felt safe in the neighborhood. The breakfast options were also great. There are not a lot of close food options to the hotel, but more within a 10-15min walk.

The room and the rest of the hotel left room for improvements though! House-keeping did not service our room ONCE during a 4-night stay (not by request). The elevators were slow and often full (only 3) for a 12-floor hotel. The air-conditioning in the rooms was very loud. Toilets would run on and off during the night.

While the location was great, the rest of our experience was not.
