We came here for an early dinner prior to taking in a Nationals baseball game. There were few customers when we arrived before 5:30 but the place quickly filled as the game starting time approached. They offer a nice selection of homemade pastas. We were pleased that several of their past dishes were seafood based. My wife sampled their crab mafaldine pasta and I opted for the mixed seafood campanella over black spaghetti in a very spicy tomato sauce. Both were delicious but needed some extra water to deal with the heat. We finished with a very nice tiramisu that was a great heat neutralizer! All in all a nice experience.

Wonderful setting, inside and out. Courteous and professional service that goes out of its way to review the very interesting menu offerings. Started with excellent polpettini meatballs and several meats and cheeses, each delicious. Excellent fresh pasta dishes, generously portioned. Malfedini with a load of crabmeat, duck ravioli, grignano with sausage, couldn’t decide which was best as all were delightful. Nice, fairly priced wine list as well. A must return visit next time we’re in the area.

Visited this restaurant on a Friday night. The place was packed. We had a reservation but did not need to wait. The appetizers were fabulous ( the meatballs were out of this world). The fresh pasta was to die for. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys great Italian food.

Nothing special because the service was below average for what I expected along the waterfront. The food was okay ad the server never god the orders right. Cesar salad was good, the steak was okay, portions over priced.

My spouse and I ventured out for Italian on August 27th.......celebratory night in D.C. Morini’s privided back drop for evening dinner. We selected two cocktails oppose to traditional wine...... “Thyme after Thyme” .......they were ok. We started with appetizers...... 3 for $23, unless you select the duck terrine. We did! Overall, good trio...... especially the smoked trout. The entrees were nicely portioned with her selection being Maryland blue crab pasta and my squid ink seafood “Capabelle Nero” pasta..... both were good...... not great but very good. Our visit concluded with a large bill $$$$$ for an above average experience.
