Description: Come see our new look with a contemporary feel in a refined setting with subtle touches of a Lebanese home. We've added seats to the bar and a new lounge too! Still great for groups of all sizes and the private room now seats 56 people. Located in walking distance from the Marriott Wardman Park and Omni Shoreham Hotels and directly across the street from the Woodley Park Metro station, our DC location is ideal for corporate and social events. Validated self-parking is also available in the garage directly behind the restaurant. The Cedar Room accommodates up to 60 people for a private seated event and 40 people for a standing reception. For smaller affairs, the room can be offered as a semi privately as well. The main dining room is also available for larger parties.

Had booked a table during our 4 night stay in Washington and timed it for after our trip to the zoo. Restaurant is less than 10 minutes walk back down the hill from the National Zoo towards Woodley Park Metro station. Food was fresh and really delicious, the bread was amazing and disappeared within seconds! Our 2 kids (aged 7 & 9) are both picky eaters but really enjoyed the dishes that they chose from the kids menu. Would definitely recommend.

Tried the chefs platter and it was a great selection of little bites. Great if you want a little of everything. Might be enough to share unless you’re hungry then you definitely won’t have enough cuz it was quite tasty. The warm bread they serve with the oil and zaatar dip was also great. The only disappointment was the kids shawarma which was super dry and over cooked. The rice was good but the veggies were old and also dry. Skip the kids menu if you have kids and just share your adult entree.

Also tried the bread pudding dessert which was very tasty but super heavy so make sure you left enough room for it otherwise try something smaller and lighter.

Cold night, long flight across the nation and looking for a really good meal. We found it in Pentagon City and would go back in a minute.
The waiter sensed that we were tired and suggested we sit in the bar (which was almost empty) for a quiet dinner. Perfect. The restaurant space is big, but broken up so that noise was not particularly a problem. Eating well was not a problem at all. My partner had beef kabobs and pilaf which he has had many times before and considered these some of the tenderest and best flavored.
I enjoyed an artichoke and lamb stew made in heaven. Seasoning was done well, lamb was really tender and portion size fit us just right. While enjoying our dinner we could look out to the skaters on the rink in the center of the complex which was also nice.
We indulged in dessert which was alright, but I have had better. The baklava was rolled and a bit dry. It ought to ooze honey. However the cinnamon and honey ice creams were extra good. Skip the pastries and go for the ice cream.
A very pleasant evening all in all.

I had dinner here with friends while attending a conference at the Marriott. The food was great and service attentive. Lively place but not so loud that you can't hear each other. I recommend the lamb shank.
