The property is excellent including service staff, decor and the amenities especially the gym. However, the location is tricky. It’s next to a train station with all kinds of trains running night and day. So if you are a light sleeper like me, this is not your place to be. Even though the hotel provided a sound system to provide ambient music, ear plugs and lavender oil to aid your sleep, the noise levels are a big issue.

Beautiful, new, modern hotel. Exceptional service. The location is right near a metro stop that will take you into the heart of DC (or a good walk - about a mile). The only criticism would be that the hotel isn't in the prettiest area. Our room overlooked a train yard and trains could be loud in the morning. If you go, ask for a room facing away from the trains.

I really like this Marriott hotel. It's new but not only that, the front desk was very nice and helpful. I'm a bonvoy member but far from platinum or titanium status. I still got access to the M Club and it was a very nice touch added to the stay. Upon arriving at our room, we got a top floor courtyard side, 2 queen bed suite. Impeccably clean, modern but very zen-like. Cleanliness is very important to me, so it was an A+ in that department. I didn't get to use the gym (we've been walking all over town for 12 hours). I liked how you get a piece of chocolate on your pillow and the toilet did clog when we first used it, but they fixed it right away. I don't blame the hotel for that, it could've been a previous guest who put something that they should've not and flushed. Also, for dinner, we booked at the rooftop restaurant, Yara, serving Japanese-Peruvian cuisine. It was a nice stay, and I will definitely return with my family next time we visit D.C.

The hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. The best hotel gym I’ve ever seen and overall a peaceful stay. The location is also good and walking distance to restaurants and travel items. A+

I like everything about this hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. Staffs are very nice and friendly. Breakfast is excellent. Plenty of fresh towels. Nice air conditioning. Friendly atmosphere. There is also a rooftop bar in this hotel. We felt very safe and welcoming.
