This was not a very good experience. I called back to the hotel after checking out letting them know that I left Something of value in the room, would they be able to hold it until I came back their responses the housekeeping has already cleaned your room and threw everything that was there away, which is hard to believe
We had a lovely stay at the Cambria this past friday! I called in advance to make sure our reservation was good to go (which it was) i mentioned to Pria (staff) over the phone - that I was celebrating my boyfriend and I's 5 year anniversary and what good restaurants were around. She gave me not 1 but about 5 local restaurants and congratulated my anniversary. Upon arriving to the hotel, the valet staff were great. We went to our room and we had a welcome gift bag from Pria with goodies and free beer/wine coupons, a breakfast voucher and a very nice note to congratulate us on our anniversary. Our room was lovely, the staff was great and there was an event at the rooftop bar and we weren't bothered by the loud music - we actually joined too! Aside from from some room maintenance issues. We absolutely loved our stay and would absolutely come back!!!
Staff was excellent front desk absolutely the best we were assisted and helped by Alex M they transferred us to another room that had the view of Capital and the monument everything was great. We will definitely come back and stay here again.
I had a good experience. The hotel has a modern sleek design and that carries over into.the room, which was faultless.
The bed was very comfortable, everything worked and I really liked the Pure body wash the hotel provided. There wasn't an actual view, but, as I spent most of the time at events, I didn't care.
I asked for a lower floor, so noise from the bar didn't carry there. There is a building under construction across the street, but they weren't bothersome.
The neighborhood is rapidly gentrifying amd I didn't feel unsafe walking during the day, but I wouldn't at night. The hotel looks like it's walkable from the Navy Yards Metro, but it's a little far to be comfortable. The area immediately around the Metro and Nats park is nice with many restaurants.
Most of the staff were very nice and helpful. I enjoyed my stay amd would recommend the hotel to people visiting Audi field or Nats park, but it's a little far from the action unless you call for ride shares all the time.
Stayed here based upon proximity to Nationals Stadium. Room was good, but hotel rents out the rooftop to outside party company. The music and vibration on the room windows went until midnight. It was ridiculous. It is also treated as a private club in that one needs to pay to go up to the roof.
This is a hotel, not a private club!
