Very clean ..,. Staff was very friendly .... The food was so-so. ... TV stations very limited selection ..... Surrounding neighborhood kinda sketchy. .... Overall a B+ ... Valet parking if you like .... Quite aways to go to shop for affordable food and drinks

Sunday night live music on the roof was very loud. The front desk was very nice and kind enough for us to get another room downstairs. They were so accommodating they called back just to make sure I didn’t want to move. The problem was they could not guarantee I would not be able to hear the noise on the first floor.
I’ve never been in this situation. I’ve been at hotels with more than one wedding, where there’s a live band downstairs in the bar all night and you could not hear one sound in the hotel rooms
It’s so loud tonight that I don’t get the design, the thinking or the lack of thinking
As a guest I was subjected to four to five hours of very loud music the deibles went from 78 to 90 in our room alone.
Nobody comes here wanting to listen to really loud music for 4 to 5 hours. Not one single soul who makes a reservation at this hotel wants to hear this the only people that want to hear this music are the people that are upstairs on the roof, enjoying it.
OK so I can’t sit in my room in peace so I go outside because somehow I thought it would help but unfortunately, I could hear the words to the song. Would you like to hear the words I will share them with you “p*s*y everywhere p*s*y everywhere there’s p*s*y everywhere everybody’s f**ck*ng everyone everyone’s f**ck*ng everyone’s f f**ck*ng each other.”
There were four little ones here yesterday there’s no way that family could let their children sit in the lobby or go in the elevator with this going on besides the fact that it’s hard to get the elevator and you can’t sit in the lobby because it’s full of the people from listening to the music.
The lobby and the front entrance were full of the smell of marijuana and cussing creating a very tense negative environment.
I went back to my room but there was no relief from the noise. So I went down to talk to the front desk and they are so nice. The two guys that work there tonight they’re consistently kind and respectful. I asked him to please help with turning it down. I hope they turn it down
I went back to my room to where the music was not turned down.
As I was going down to the elevator to talk to them at the front desk again the elevator was full of probably seven grown adults screaming f**k mother f*cker the whole way down and I mean screaming and jumping up and down. These are pretty big people too 6 feet. In case you’re not getting the idea of being in a small elevator of grown men screaming profanity.
I was pretty upset when I got to the front desk and the security guard was not happy with my reaction from my experience in the elevator, full of grown men, screaming and cursing. I said we’re allowed to bring children with us right all people are welcome here. He’s like yeah what’s the problem? Just don’t put your child on the elevator. Does that statement make any sense to you? It makes no sense to me.

Two guys at the front desk get it they understand the difficulty and inconvenience. They didn’t create more stress with me when I spoke to them. I asked the security guard could you please just make this an A and B conversation and he looked at me what do you mean A and B conversation? One of the nice men at the front desk said she wants to talk to us not you would you please leave us alone?
So, he did leave us alone while staring at me the whole time and he couldn’t help himself. He still came back listening to the conversation and started making his comments and he was ultimately creating more stress. He was supposed to be a security guard. Keep the stress down. I don’t think he gets it.
When I went back up, it was with customers staying at the hotel and they were all very sad. One man said we’re all sad. I told him this is going on until midnight and there was a family that looked and said oh my God why? I told another man who was going up to a higher floor Careful on the elevator because there was a lot of screaming and cussing and he said oh great thank you.
From 7 PM to 11:15 I felt like I was having a heart attack. Took me a good 3 to 4 hours for my mind and body to calm down. What did we do as a customer to have been in this situation?
You have to ask yourself who’s running this Hotel the customers on the roof or the hotel management.
The decibel measured anywhere from 78 to 90 at its highest during the music, screaming cussing profanity.
Does Hotel have every right to charge a customer for creating this kind of environment?
What rights do the customers have for the hotel creating this kind of environment?
Are you sure this should be a four-star hotel? Sounds like a one star to me.
I think you’re one star hotel with a four-star staff.
I was told that last night was the only night there would be loud music and we should be fine for the rest of our stay.
Lo and behold the next night loud music again I called the front desk, and he said I didn’t know that they were going to have the music he said but it should be done by 10:00 PM. It is now 11 o’clock and they are still playing loud music. I called the police at 11:03 asking them to come to the hotel. The police were a little bit confused at first because usually, you’re making a complaint against someone in another room, not the actual hotel once I explained the situation, they were very happy to come and help
The hotel smelled like marijuana all through the lobby in the front of the hotel, and of course in elevators.
The very nice person behind the front desk explained to me he did not know when they were going to have music because no one had told him.

People just walk around town passing out flyers saying there’s going to be a party at this hotel and then there’s a DJ that plays very loud music.
The music bounces off the buildings around us into the hotel room. That’s what makes it so loud.
The biggest problem besides being yelled at and hearing profanity against women is that I’m there to sleep and the people on the roof have free rain over the hotel. Nothing keeps them from going to any floor in the hotel, nothing or no one is keeping them from smoking weed in front of the hotel and cussing and fighting. It appears this hotel is not private property. It is public property with no rules.
It was the most unpredictable, extremely tense environment that I have ever been in a hotel.

The place is welcoming, the staff is courteous, the room is magnificent, clean and the location is calm but close to the main attraction. We loved our stay and recommend the place if you like quiet places, but still enjoy the proximity of the city.

We were attending a game at Audi Field and there was a pre-match event within the hotel. As we were travelling from Scotland we decided to book this hotel for seven nights to allow us to opportunity to explore Washington DC.

Hotel ideally located for Audi Field and the nearby Nationals Baseball ground. In an area that appears to be under regeneration. Large building project underway directly opposite the hotel with some associated noise. Nearest Metro station 10 minutes walk away (Navy Yard-Ball Park). I would not suggest wandering much around the hotel, not sure how safe some of these areas are particularity after dark.

The hotel room it's self was okay. Comfortable but the AC could not be switched off and it was very noisy.
The real issue we had was with the housekeeping, or lack of it. Hotel only services rooms every three days unless you request otherwise. This was not communicated at check-in. Despite asking for room to be serviced every other day room went uncleaned for 4 nights - we had trash building up. Towels and bedding provided by housekeeping then appeared to be damp. Floor of room and bathroom dirty (socks and soles of feet can attest) even after cleaning. I suspect we noticed the issues due to the length of time we stayed in the hotel. Other visitors seemed to be more transient staying for one or two nights.

We ate breakfast in the hotel one morning - average. Hotel restaurant and bar only open until 9pm - people were getting turned away. There are places to eat and drink towards Metro station or a few towards Navy Yard Park along waterfront - but we didn't find anywhere close to the hotel. When we ventured to waterfront we are seriously nibbled by insects.

I would not return to this hotel due to the housekeeping.

Hotel was nice looking, and very well situated, location-wise, for both Audi Field and Nat's Stadium. Walking distance to a few breweries/restaurants as well which was a plus!

There were however a few things that we didn't love. Upon arrival we checked in and had to wait 15 minutes for valet to come back to take our car before the employee at reception took the keys for us and told us he would give them to the valet. The first room we were sent to was 2 queens when I booked a king. Front desk apologized, gave us a new room and up we went. Second room we found already had someone else staying in it, much to all our surprise, we apologized profusely and went back down. Front desk was very apologetic and mentioned "they had to figure out who has staying in that room" which is not very reassuring. On the 3rd try we finally got out empty king room. They did give us $40 towards breakfast, but just didn't give best first impression. Other than that, the lowest you could set the AC said 68 degrees, but our room was absolutely warmer than that and we couldn't get it cold enough for our liking. The bathroom was beautiful, but sink water didn't get cold, it was always like a luke-warm, so rinsing mouth and filling water bottles was gross. Another downside was that Saturday night there was a private event at the rooftop (some areas still open to public), but because of that they "didn't have enough staff" to run a dinner service at the downstairs/lobby restaurant. Considering they had a sign up about dinner service starting at 5 all day, this was misleading and we had to rethink our plans. Later that night the lobby bar was also closed for what I'm assuming was a private event. The doors to the lobby were shut, but full of people... I'm assuming maybe DC United staff or Savanah Bananas staff (who were in town for game at Nat's stadium), but nothing was ever mentioned about it being closed. These two things also made it impossible to use the free beer/wine tickets they included in the pouch with our room keys that they made a big deal mentioning. Check-out with the valet was also pro-longed as there is only 1 person, so there was a backlog of cars waiting to be pulled up for guests checking out.

Overall, the look was nice, but I got the impression that it was poorly run and not very professional. We probably would not recommend to friends, or stay here again when in DC.

Hotel was clean and felt pretty safe. Easy walk to Audi Field. The problem was only 1 of 2 elevators was working for our stay. There were long waits during our stay. Also there was some sort of party going on in the hotel that played loud music late into the night.

Room tip: It's about 2 blocks to Audi Field. Walk felt safe at the end of the game with lots of people around.
