Our family of 7-age 7-68- ate at Commissary last night, Cherry Festival Week. We had reservations(a must!), so we were seated right away. However, our service went downhill from there. We were seated at 6:45, drink order placed & then we waited...-& waited some more. Our waitress was charming, but she seemed distracted. Drinks took awhile, good didn’t come until 8. Hungry kids had hard time waiting.. Food quality mixed: steaks ok, beer gyro innovative, kids liked pizza. The menu is eclectic. Lots of interesting choices. Maybe restaurant needs more staff during festival. We left close to 9:00pm w/really tired 7 year old!

Went here during our short trip to Washington and decided to do a special brunch on a Saturday. We made a reservation and it was a seamless sit down and ordering! The food was so incredible and had some very good options. Our server was also awesome and overall it was a great place! But very busy! Would hight recommend making a reservation.

Great breakfast spot. Try the potatoe pancakes and salmon -- not something I would normally order but SO good!!! Kids menu also good and huge portions. I wanted to stop back for lunch or dinner but the week was too busy that we never made it back. Next time! Also reservations available on Open Table.

Loud, happening, very busy place. Have reservations!! Waitress spread thin but she came around from rushed to pleasant. The Kung Pao brussel sprout app was top two b'sprout recipes I have had. The Asian chicken lettuce wrap apps could only be improved with more substantial and not warm lettuce. But great flavors.

I over ordered with the beet salad, steak frites and a side of wild mushrooms. That said I think I ate it all. There was a regular and a veggie burger in our group. All good. And one did a trio of sides. Only knock I heard was that the cauliflower was average. But the rest of the place was great.

Great food for the money! An eclectic local spot and we loved it! I got the Commissary burger and my husband the Steak Frites. Both were very good, the steak was cooked perfectly!
