We spent 3 nights in Ernesto y Belkys' casa and would have stayed more if we had more time.
The house is conveniently located in a quiet location, close to the road heading to cienfuegos or playa ancon, without going to the center with your car. But the city center is only 10 minutes walk from the center.
We were welcomed very warmly by Ernesto and his wife, they are very friendly while respecting your privacy, and they make all they can to make you feel like home. They gave us plenty of nice recommendations on which road to take, which hike to choose... it was precious! They cook an incredibly good food with "la abuela", they prepare great cocktails. The breakfast was very good every day, with home made pastries. Ernesto even prepared some sandwiches for one of our lunches, as we did not have time to go buy one before leaving.
You can park your car in front of a friend's house in the street for 3 CUC/night.
The bedrooms are very confortable and clean, there was hot water every day.
We did enjoy our stay with Ernesto and Belkys and would definitely go back another time!

Ernesto and Belky made us feel so welcome from the minute we arrived at their casa. Ernesto is a great barman - his welcome Canchancharra was amazing - and an even better chef. We had lobster twice and it was just too good for words. I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Cuba. We booked through bbinnsvinales, which worked really well. 100% recommended

Ernesto welcomed us very well! He helped us with many things and also offered great cancháncharas (a Cuban drink)! Besides, he explained some about the history of his country. In summary, I highly recommend his guest house!

The best place we stayed at during our whole Cuba visit. Extremely good service – they genuinely cared about you while staying there. And on top of that, the food was excellent. Rooms were clean and good standard (good Cuban standard that is), great roof terrace.

We had a great stay for four nights at Hostal Casa Mia. The casa is just off the central street in a quiet location. Ernesto`s breakfasts and dinners were incredibly delicious, and the activities they helped us arrange were fantastic. I would definitely recommend staying at Hostal Casa Mia. It was the best casa we stayed in at our trip.
