A variety of exhibits and armored vehicles on display to see. Learn about your Australian ancestors and their part in the war. We were lucky to meet Sir Tony Robinson on an open day.

It is not a massive exhibition. The underground trench exhibit from WWI was interesting.
Other displays were ok too. The kids found it a little boring and I struggled to keep their interests up.
The disappointing thing for me and particularly the kids, was that most of the military vehicles were roped off and you couldn't get alongside them to see them in any detail.
The kids really enjoyed this museum. There were so unique displays and one of a kind items. Well worth a visit.
We had a group of 6 adults and 4 children aged 10 and under, the tour guide was great and took the time to talk to everyone in our group including the kids. There is a lot of information and displays to view so you’ll need a few hours to look at everything.
You can’t park inside the barracks but parking is not far away. The pricing is also very good too a family of 2 adults and 2 children is only $25. I would recommend visiting whenever you are in Fremantle next.
I enjoy military museums around the world to read the 'history' from both sides. Well presented and laid out in chronological order. If this is your thing it won't disappoint. Great staff but as it is still technically a military base a member of your group needs photo ID.
This place was very exciting to visit being a fan of all things military! A guide will talk you through about all the various theatres of war Australia participated in as well as the major battles, factions that took place in those wars. There are plenty of real life historical artifacts from guns, helmets, uniforms and flags! Outside, there are plenty of tanks, armoured cars and artillery from various wars. They have staghounds, M3 Stuarts, M3 Lees, Leopards and Centurions. Overall a very fun place to spend the day! Plenty of photos to be taken! Highly recommended!
