The hotel lobby and rooms are a bit outdated. Every drink that we ordered from the bar seemed to be out of stock which was frustrating. The staff were not very enthusiastic except for the concierge who were great and friendly. The air con in the room wasn't cold enough. We had it on minimum temperature and it wasn't enough for an average temperature night. The bathroom is outdated, so is the artwork in the rooms. The TV is way too far away from the bed so we struggled to even watch a movie without squinting our eyes. Positively, the room was spacious and the spa bath which was included in our room was great. However, they didn't provide any complimentary water for the room so we had to pay $5 per bottle of water from the mini bar. How can a hotel NOT provide ANY complimentary water??? The pool bar was closed on a Friday which wasn't ideal for us either. However, the location of the hotel is great. It is close to pretty much everything including the markets, some good restaurants and bars. The parking down the road was easy to use and the hotel gave us a discount code and made it easy for us to set up. It did cost $30 a night however which was our cheapest option around that area.
It wasn't the worst hotel stay of my life but I don't think I would stay there again. Too much is outdated and the service was below par.
