Walking to the beach, we passed the building that houses this 'Inner Light' exhibit. Something to stop and experience for 15-20 minutes in that there is a gallery of paintings that change in appearance when shown in regular light and then ultraviolet light. Enjoyed it!

Just stop by, relax and enjoy the light game and amazing work. I took also a master class - really enjoyed it!

If you happen to be in Majori (the center of Jurmala), come visit this Art Studio. It's near the train station and is on ne of the sidestreets to Jomas iela, the walkers' street of Majori. It's a very unusual kind of spiritual art which is produced by some very special echnique that I cannot very well describe. But the result is such that you get a hall filled with beautiful paintings that look totally different depending on whether you're looking at them when it is light or when it is dark (so the lighting gradually changes all the time while you're there). Some paintings are truly awe inspiring, but be prepared for slightly new-agy feel of the place. Excellent place to spend 0,5-1 hours.
The building itself is representative of the Jurmala wooden architecture. I don't quite remember the entry price - it was something around 2-3 lats.
