Although the reviews of the resturant are ambivalent, the place is great. We had really good food in the midle of the Buda Castle, the staff is prepared and helpful. We loved it and for shore are going back.

So Jamie's Italian maybe gone from the shores of Blighty but is quietly doing well in Budapest. As it's collection and delivery only due the the prevailing pandemic restrictions this is solely about the food.

Here's what I liked;

• Generous portion size
• Arrived hot
• Good quality
• Good value
• The Margherita pizza had a good crust.

Here's what I didn't like;

• The pasta whilst presented nicely and clearly well made was pretty tasteless. This could have been so easily turned around with some seasoning which it distinctly lacked. Otherwise this would have been a winner.

Would I eat from the restaurant again? Yes
Do I recommend it? Yes
Was is it good value? Yes

Pleasant quiet spot to enjoy Jamie Oliver Italian food. Agreeable outdoor terrace. The three of us shared an enjoyable Parma and Italian spicy pizza, mineral water and a double espresso. HUF 12,031 (A$60).

It was difficult to reserve a table by phone, only inside place was offered, however a lot of tables were empty...
The menu card is limited, and daily menu was not offered automatically.
However the kids menu is included drinks also, they did not served it automatically, rather they served a big lemonade at adults price.
The food was fine but limited quantity, more than 10 Eur for a simple burger...
The final shock was, that after obligatory 13, 5% tip, the waiter was asking additional one??! Dear general manager what is the role of obligatory tip?

The service was very slow. The chicken pizza I ordered was full of ruccola which was not mentioned on the menu. The mohito coctail had a bad side taste. Very bad experience I was disappointed.
