It is extremely difficult to find words in which to express ones feelings having visited this museum which use to be the headquarters of the Gestapo. It certainly brings to light the extent of the autrocities people underwent in these buildings.
The messages written on the cell walls make you shudder and realise what mental as well a physical torture they had to endure. The museum also covers the period after WW2 until the late 1980's which helps us to understand what the Polish Nation went through. If you are visiting Krakow don't miss this museum. If you are visiting Oscar Schindler;s factory keep your receipt and show it at this museum for a reduction.
