I was fortunate enough to visit this museum while they had the Home Sweet Home exhibit. This is the story of Richard Ores, told by him, his family, and his photos/videos through the years. He survived the holocaust and became a successful American doctor. This exhibit was very powerful and I had to sit for a minute after i walked through it.
I also then walked through the Traces of Memory exhibit which has done of the most arresting photography I have ever seen. It is a fascinating look at Jewish culture before, during, and after the holocaust. It ends on a lively collection of celebratory and hopeful photographs of the polish Jewish community today.
If you are able to see the home sweet home exhibit while it is there please go. It was one of the best exhibits I've ever seen.
