Description: Café Slavia is a traditional cafe in the historical centre of Prague. There is Café Slavia and Divadelní (Theatrical) restaurant with entrance opposite to National Theatre, and Restaurant Parnas with entrance from the waterfront of river Vltava. We offer Czech and international cuisine. The menu includes salad, fish and meat specialities. You can try our breakfast menu, which you can order from 8 o clock in the morning, when the Café Slavia opens for you. We are aware of the history around us; the National Theater, Charles Bridge and the Prague Castle. You can see these sights from your table enjoying a cup of hot coffee or a glass of good wine. We offer these exclusive premises for holding various social events. We are able to meet the wishes of even the most demanding clients. Our capacity is approx. 500 seated when connecting all the facilities of Café Slavia, Restaurant Parnas and Restaurant Jihočeská. Everyday between 17-23 a professional piano player is on stage with live music for you. This programme is a rarity in Prague.

For 5 days in Prague we visited quite a few places and the crepes in cafe slavis tastes the best. It's location is next to the river and bridge central to other sightseeing places.

I really enjoy going to Cafe Slavia whenever I'm in Prague, unfortunately the experience is getting worse and worse. The waiters don't bother to notice you when you sit down and enter, it takes forever to get the menu, despite the place being half empty. The same for paying, you have to strive to get their attention. The menu seems to be expanding with more and more dishes, wines, smoothies, lemonades, icecreams etc... Less is more guys, keep it simple. Fortunately there's no more indoors smoking in CZ allowed anymore, so at least the smell has improved now.

As a historic place on attractive location it's must to visiti in Prague. cakes are wonderful and for very good prices, while drinks (we had coffee and wonderful lemonades) are pretty expensive, but that's Slavia now, not in times of Velvet revolution.

We went there for breakfast and we liked the two desserts (strudel and sacher). Espresso too long !! We found that the prices were a little bit high.

I think this place hasn't changed since the 70's and I thought it was great. This place has a special and a very nice atmosphere. We went there with friends for dinner. The staff was ok, but the food very good. Actually as everywhere I went in Prague. The thing I enjoyed the most was the interior design and a great view over the river and Narodni Divadlo, the National Theatre.
