we stayed here for the second time, as our previous experience had been a good one. Two years have passed, and many things have changed... the air conditioning broke down on Friday and they guaranteed that we would have it back on Monday.. Monday came around and they said "we have no control over the airconditioning man, so he will take 2 or 3 days".. I asked for a discount on the price, no response. The room is spacious, the breakfast is just OK, no accommodating to the customer,

Room Tip: good location

The hotel was bijou and quirky, but very near Charles Bridge. The room was good, clean and comfortable. Parking was the main problem in that it will only take small cars on a lift down to a basement. We had to park the car some distance away in a public car park. The cost of a one night stay was not overly expensive. The bathroom consisted of a bath with a shower head but no curtain or screen.

It's a good value for money but my room was on two floors - with a steep ring-stair to the sleeping facilities. The room wasn't properly clean and the carpets on the floor where worn out. They say it is a 24 hour reception but as I found out, at 11 PM the front door was locked so you could neither get in our out without having the receptionist assist you...and I was unable to find him. The adjoined restaurant is okay with fine selection. The location is very good, only a few minutes walk to the bridge.

We only stayed here one night but were very pleased with the size of the room, the general cleanliness and the quality of the breakfast. It is only about ten minutes walk from the Lesser Old Town and Charles Bridge, making it very well positioned without being in the middle of everything.

If we were presented with the option to do so, we would happily stay here again.

This small hotel is well situated to get around the city, most attractions are within a reasonable walking distance, which we did, and the tram stops at the front door, which we didn't use.
Our room was basic and very dark, even in daytime, stuck in a corner with little natural daylight. The room was functional for a few nights but quite dated but reasonably priced.
The reception staff were pleasant and helpful but the weekend breakfast lady was surly and not particularly helpful.
The breakfast was ok with a modest choice of both hot and cold, continental style with cheeses and hams in addition to breads and cereals.
We used the restaurant for our first night but found it disappointing, despite the friendly staff. Pizza with little of the advertised topping and a steak, medium, that was uncooked, returned and came back still very raw.
We thoroughly enjoyed the city and this provided a good base for our stay.
