Much cheaper than other cafes nearby and apple strudel to die for and huge range of hot drinks, at least 5 different varieties of hot chocolate.

Nice ambience and interesting garments hanging from the ceiling.

I almost do not want to write a review as this place was so original and quaint, it would spoil it if too many people flocked there however, it was such a surprising find for us on a cold winter day, we enjoyed the short experience immensely.
The hot chocolate was the best remedy for a chilly day and the addition of chilli, was superb. We also shared a piece of cake and whatever it was, it was delicious.
Bathrooms were cute, clean and most unlike what you would normally find in a public restaurant.
I think from memory, they took cash only and there was no WiFi - both refreshing idiosyncrasies of the little cafe. So glad we found it by chance and it really made our journey that day, extra special.

The cafe's not very big and can't accommodate a lot of people. Interior was nice, cosy and vintage but nothing too special. Staffs are friendly, especially a little boy (ca. 10 years old, presumably the child of the cafe owner) who was really sweet to us. Price's okay, not too expensive and not too cheap either, but for what you get, it's definitely worth it. If you want to only try one thing order the hot chocolate (54 CZK), it's only about 2€ and taste heaven-made. If you're on the neighbourhood (Mala Strana), do yourself a favor and spend half an hour here to give yourself the chance to taste it!

After reading a blog that mentioned Cafe Kaficko's legendary hot chocolate - we headed out to find this hidden gem. A small coffee shop near John Lennon wall is worth a visit. We tried the dark, milky and white hot chocolate - the milky with whipped cream was the best by far! Thick and indulgent like a warm chocolate pudding! Eat with a spoon rather than drink. Friendly owner/manager and cosy little spot.

The woman working here was absolutely lovely and if you want a really thick, serious hot chocolate then this is the place for you. It's a shame it doesn't have sofas because somewhere comfy to sit would really finish it off.
