Our room was #308. Very spacious with what seemed like new fittings (carpet, bed, chair, tables). Bed was huge and plenty of space for clothes in the wardrobe and drawers supplied. TV was an ok size and the minibar hidden inside a cupboard. The room was always very warm, even in January which was one of the small problems - The heater seemed to be stuck on permanantly. Even when adjusting the thermostat to a cooler temperature, instead of blasting out hot air, it would instead just radiate heat. It wasn't so much of a problem as the windows could open fully but we often slept with the windows open and got woken by the bin men/delivery trucks at 5/6am. The bathroom was very nice, too. We had a large bath tub as well as shower with good water pressure. The only downside to the shower was there was no screen to stop the water from splashing over the side and making a very wet bathroom floor.

The service was always good at Friday Hotel. The housekeepers always smiled and said good morning as did the waitresses and front desk staff. We would particularly like to mention Paulina who was very friendly and wanted a quick chat whenever we came in/out. It would be nice if all front desk staff were as openly friendly as her but we cannot complain because the other staff were never rude or unfriendly.

The breakfast was good, but perhaps the only downside to the hotel. It has a good selection with bacon and (instant?) eggs, hash brown, pancakes, some vegetables, cereals, pastries, fruit, juice, coffees etc. but it lacked creativity and got a bit dull after a few days. I would like to see a fresh egg station, sausages...a bit more variety.

Overall we really enjoyed staying at Friday Hotel. It's located just a few minutes walk from the busy old town so it was away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to the main attractions. I think it would be hard to find this kind of quality in prague unless you opt for high end rates at a large chain hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a modern room, they're cosier than the classic rooms.

The room was insane at this hotel with a sofa, gorgeous bathroom and plenty of wardrobe space! The breakfast was lovely with complimentary hot drinks ALL DAY!!! The location is the perfect location, close to all major sights and next to the main shopping area! Noise was not a problem either!

Good location with plenty shops and restaurants nearby. Right in the center and not noisy. Room was clean. Breakfast was standard as you expected in most hotel. 24 hours self service for tea and coffee was great! Will stay again!

I definitely DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. When we were leaving the hotel, my friend paid (with debit-card) water bottle she had taken from the minibar and week later she found out that the hotel had charged also another water, beers and soft drinks that we had not even drank. And the worst part is that they do not have a card PIN code, security code or her signature for that charge so it means they scan card and snoop PIN code. BIG disappointment! This really makes useless hotel's perfect location, fresh breakfast and clean rooms..... :(
