The MUST STAY hotel when you go visit Parawa, Phillipine

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Mar 27, 2023via mobile
Daluyon hotel is AMAZING!!! It's just about 10 mins walk from Underground River Information Center. There are only 12 cottages, each has two rooms in property. Beach front hotel with an beautiful swimming pool and surrounded. Each room has a balcony faces to the beach. The beach front is stunning that you can swim, kayak, sunbathing. A very nice ambiance restaurant right by the swimming pool can provide good food, drink and music by local singers.
Staffs are 5 stars customer services, friendly, polite and very respectful. Cherry who works at the front desk is AMAZING and there is another young man who works at night shift,(sorry that I forgot his name ) is very helpful.
We met young general manager Bruce C. Tan and he didn't hesitate to spend time to help us for what we need. He's the kind business man and I can confirm it with everyone by talking with him and recognized the reason why he has a wonderful team of staffs
We planed to stay there only one night after visiting Puerto Princess underground River then heading to El Nido, but we ended up stayed there for 8 nights. Well, that can tell you how much we love the hotel, staffs and its services.
You won't be disappointed if you stay here. We definitely will be back soon

This is the perfect hotel to spend a few days. We stayed in a beach front room with an amazing sea views right in front. The staff were so lovely and super attentive. We would like to make a special mention to CJ, Rico, Edmond who really went out of their way to look after us. The food was delicious and a real variety so a big thank you to the chefs and their teams. The mango milkshakes are a must too. The pool area is so beautifully set in their gardens and the pool is large so you really can enjoy your swim. So easy to go from here to the Underground River, and we also went over to Honda Bay for the day but were very happy to come back to the Daluyon after a busy day. Also visited the mangroves and enjoyed the lovely walk through the town to the waterfall. Definitely worth adding a few nights at this hotel.

Returning after a worldwide pandemic and massive hurricane direct hit (Odette), Daluyon’s resilience and service excellence demonstrates why it stands above the rest as a premier international destination. The service provided by the staff has not skipped a beat and staff like Ralphe, Jimmy, Edmund, and even all the new OJTs goes over and beyond your average resort. From catering to your every need at the resort restaurant where delicious dinners are served every night, to managing an all-day island tour where lunch is served on an private beach, the staff ensures that you have the best possible service and experience possible.

Purposely limiting number of available rooms, you don’t get the typical overwhelming resort experience where you feel that you are just a number out of thousands of tourists. Each room is configured differently depending on what room type you select, however one theme is consistent and that I call “native luxury” - i.e. the use of native materials like nipa, bamboo, dark wood, flora, etc. carefully planned out and designed in a luxurious setting.

It’s proximity to the seaport (5 mins) where you take the Banka boats to the Underground tour is an added benefit since most people arrive in vans from Puerto Princesa which is 1.5 hours away (one way!). There is also the must-do Sabang Zip Line, and a serene and educational Mangrove River Tour approximately 15 mins away by resort transportation.

For those adventurous travelers, do not miss the Sabang Falls which is about a 30-1 hour hike from the resort depending on your condition. Note however that during this writing, there are minimal (0) signs to the falls - but just trust your instincts and keep going! Tip: Bring your bathing suits…

Overall I highly recommend staying here if you desire a quiet, private, luxuriously native experience complemented by excellent personal service. Brave the 1.5 hour drive from the airport when you land (arrange a private shuttle) then sit back and relax and let the day go by ever so slowly.

Room tip: Set up a private shuttle from the resort before arriving!

We’re family travel vloggers from California visiting Puerto Princesa, Philippines for the first time. For a more detailed review with videos visit my IG account and YT channel @momduty.

Our main goal in Puerto Princesa was to visit the Puerto Princesa Subterranean Underground River National Park. It’s one of the 7 Wonders of Nature! We didn’t realize it wasn’t actually in Puerto Princes but in another town. So we landed in Puerto Princesa and drove 90 minutes north to a town called Sabang where the underground river port is.

We booked Daluyon last minute as a convenient resort, because it’s only 3-5 minutes away from Sabang Port which is where we take off to see the Underground River. But little did we know how much of a hidden gem this resort really is! Wow!

I’m so impressed with all it has to offer! The location is great because it’s next to One of the 7 Wonders of Nature: Underground River. The resort also has its own private beach, which is so clean, has soft sand, no rocks and a beautiful cove filled with hundreds of palm trees. It’s literally paradise! The resort also offers FREE activities which includes kayaking, mini soccer, paddle boarding and archery. Plus it has its own reading cottage/library, gym and spa. I love that this is more of a bouquet resort and not huge with too many tourists. It’s more private and chill.

Our room with sea view was perfect for a family of 4. It was so clean and had air conditioner. The whole area including the entire resort was well maintained.

My favorite part of the resort is the restaurant, Pawikan Restaurant. I not only love it because of the delicious Filipino food, fresh juices, cocktails and live music every night but I really love it because of the staff.

The staff made our stay so memorable! We arrived late and although the restaurant was closed, they stayed open for us past 9pm because they knew our kids would be hungry from a long travel day. I mean WOW! Talk about service!

A HUGE THANK YOU to Ralphfe, Rico, Yohan, Edmond, Cindy, Alyana, Potri, Ailyn, Carla and Clarence. They took such good care of me and my family during our stay. Thank you for making us feel so comfortable Ralphfe! You and your team are incredible and we will never forget your hospitality. We miss you guys already!!!

I highly recommend this place for families, singles, retirees, couples or guys/girls trip! It’s for everyone wanting to relax in paradise with amazing service!!!!

A lovely, but sadly too short, stay at Daluyon Beach & Mountain Resort. We had a lovely deluxe cottage right on the beach and the beach is glorious. Clean, tidy and hardly anyone to share it with. The staff at the resort are all excellent, friendly, attentive and efficient. Ralphfe in the restaurant, plus Julia on Reception were great. We enjoyed the food and when we were running late for our early more trip to the Underwater River they even rushed up to us with our breakfast boxes ‘to go’. Thanks for an enjoyable stay, just wish we could have stayed longer.
