Certainly a trip highlight! The views from the restaurant are spectacular! The cabin was cozy and the dinner we had was one of the best I had in my two weeks in Albania. Warm, alpine food following a day of mountain trekking was excellent. Jenis was super helpful in arranging our day in Theth and suggesting how we make the most of our stay. Highly recommended!

It was a wonderful stay at Thethi Paradise.
The staff is extremely friendly, especially the two English speaking kids.
The house is located in the mountains. To go the the center of Theth you need around 30 min by foot.
We had a double room with a great view over The Valley of Theth and the mountains in the background. The room is clean, but don’t forget to put the plug in for warm water in the bathroom ;)

They have a small mini market for common staff and a spring for water.
We had every night dinner in the hotel and it was always amazing. Fresh and traditional Albanian food.

It was really a pleasant to stay there.
Any time again!

Amazing place
Wonderful location with incredible views.
What made our stay even more special were the people who owned and ran the place
We loved place so much we stayed an extra night!
Be aware driving is challenging - probably best in a 4 x 4
We managed just about with a VW polo not advisable without experience.
However if you telephone the place if you get stuck i am sure they will find you a this is what happened to another couple
Good hiking in the the area.

We chose the place by appearance and it turned out to be a great little hotel. Literally located on a mountain and what views in the morning when you wake up after darkness. Breakfast was local delicious food. We also ate a deligious simple dinner, which the owner lady quickly made luke magic out of nowhere

After choosing our accommodation on a whim, we were very pleasantly surprised with Thethi Paradise. Every one was very kind and fun to talk to. Florentina (I’m sorry I probably butchered your name!) was so fun to dance with! She taught me a traditional dance and we ended up dancing with a group of orphan girls all night who were there on a little getaway. Steven, one of the main employees, was very helpful. Dreke, the owner, was so kind and offered to take a group of us to the center of Thethi and pick us up so we could hike to the Blue Eye.

For a vegetarian, the choices are few, but the ingredients are so fresh and flavorful we didn’t mind, specifically the cheese, butter, and jam. The beds were pretty comfy and I loved being greeted by the dogs Shari and Suzi with Suzi’s puppies in the morning as the sun rose over the valley. Overall, it is a serene place to take in the views of The Valley, have a beer, and relax after a day of hiking. I really didn’t mind it being far from the center of town in exchange for the views and peaceful environment. 100% we will stay here next time we come to Albania!
