The views are amazing ....world class but unfortunately I think the reception staff & owners are relying on the views way too much. The apartments seem to be of varying standards and ours, especially the kitchen did not measure up by a long way to the advertised photos. The kitchen and bathroom definitely dated back to the 60's and a renovation is well overdue. Also in light of the fact that there is no eatery on site the kitchen equipment could be a little more extensive as it is necessary to self cater.
The maintenance is below par by a long way.....the living room fan went 24/7 no off button, a defunct light bulb could not be replaced, taps dripped, paint was chipped/flaking in places. The reception staff were of varying quality. Some were extremely friendly and helpful others seem to have been there way too long and did not want to be bothered.
Overall the apartment was clean, towels always fluffy and replaced every day and the views were amazing. It would be nice to see the owners reinvest in the property and up grade to a higher standard.

I'm not one to be fussy for accommodation, but I was put up here for work for the night for work because supply was short for the area tonight. I checked in all well and good. The woman at the counter was nice, but unfortunately the room was not at a standard I would think is needed for a $250+ accommodation. The room for starter looks over to the back over the clothes lines and walls of the people behind (yes, $250+ gets you views away from the harbour), but the room has no aircon, just a little fan placed over the lounge suite (not the bed where needed on a semi hot night like tonight). The bed also had no sheet, so pull back the doona and you're left with nothing. The size of the room was good, with all the facilities and kitchen etc., but the bathroom had flickering fluros and no wifi (tried to call reception for half an hour to get the code with no answer or no call back).
All in all, they may have some phenomenal views (given you choose the right room when you book), but they could be a much better place with some solid renovations and pricing review.

We stayed 4 nights on 13th floor - apartment room 61 the view was amazing. A little noisey at night time due to the train travelling over harbour bridge and the ferry pickup passengers and karaoke on Fri sat sun which stopped at midnight that didn't bother me. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Their was no air-conditioning only ceiling fans in bedroom and kitchen dining area. Windows were opened to allow fresh air in at night which cooled the apartment down nicely. The hotel faces the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Lunar Park which has easy access to ferries travelling to circular key and Darling harbour. Shopping centre north Sydney is about 15 - 20 minutes walk uphill a lot easier coming back. Greenwood plaza has an IGA, Coles and Aldi are a little further up but close by. This hotel offers free parking which is included in the price if you are driving. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay staff very accommodating would recommend this hotel.

Room tip: 13th to 16th floor - south side facing harbour bridge

The views from our 2 bedroom appt were simply amazing .So good that even reluctant teenager took some time out from txting to use camera on his phone.
The appt itself was adequately appointed and although cleaned each day could really do with a deep clean to remove mold from windows and a change of toilet brush ! Swimming pool was a welcome relief on extra hot days - the ceiling fans couldnt stir the humid air,but the evening breeze from the water was welcome.
A superb locationon McMahons point with the excellent ferry service.
It was expensive but its all about the view !
Very expensive wifi service was a major downfall for overseas visitors

If Carlsberg made apartment views then this would be one of the best in the world! Do request if you can a two bedroom one if you can as the frontage looks out on to The Harbour Bridge and Opera House behind. Views don't get much better than this.
All the utilities needed for a self contained apartment (including a corkscrew to crack open those delightful bottles of Red just purchased from The Hunter Valley!)
The Ferry point into Circular Quay less than one hundred yards from the door with a delightful restaraunt
(sails) on the way. (Do try it...first class!)
A swimming pool right next to the Harbour providing views as you take a dip!
This place is a jewel in the crown
