Championship game on at 7, ladies football on the tele and no sign of anyone that even knows what the sport is. Not some one who goes to Irish pubs abroad but I thought a couple of pints and kildare on tv would be fun! No danger.

This is classed as an Irish bar - they sell Guinness and that seems to be the only Irish thing there.
It appears so dark and dingy that it depresses you when you go in. Then you SIT ON THE WORST STOOLS and you only want to stay for one beer.
Get friendly bar staff and better stools if you want more customers.
Won't be back or recommending it to anyone.

After much research & posting questions on various forums we eventually found a bar in Porto that was showing an EFL match that we were keen to watch!
It was a midweek game & the bar was very quiet when we arrived but one of the two televisions in the bar was indeed showing the specific match we needed! The bar is not plush, quite basic in many respects but the bar lady welcomed us warmly & was extremely helpful & polite during the evening.
We drank both the draught Guinness & Sagres beer both of which were good & very reasonably priced. There were also nuts & crisps to purchase at the bar.
Thank you for making us welcome & also to the manager for taking the time to email us prior to the match to confirm they would be showing it on the television.

Came in with friends to get a good pint of Guinness and wasn’t disappointed. Thanks Batista. The pub is fairly small but the music is good on a Saturday night and all in all, we had a very good time. Note to the owners: If you ever wonder why a lot of people seem to be heading elsewhere after a short time – IT IS THE STOOLS. They are so uncomfortable. Please change them. You will notice a difference in your income, and the mood of the customers.

Came in here for a drink (I like popping in to Irish pubs when abroad,if only for one) and was not impressed. An insanely narrow first section of the pub opens up down the end to a wider part but the overall feeling was claustrophobic. The pub was packed due to the Ireland v England six nations game but none the less I don't rate this pub.Even with the Rugby on there was a flat atmosphere,in fact,I have to say it was possibly the worst Irish theme pub I have ever been in.Porto deserves a better Irish pub then this.If only I had 50 grand...
