We caught a water taxi ride to the restaurant which was relaxing and made it feel special , it was around $10 pp one way from the Sheraton river bridge .
The restaurant is lovely and hamptons style , we were all very happy with the quality and flavours of our meals but unfortunately they have remained in the 90's where they think it is ok to serve teeny tiny morsels of food for big prices .
The tuna tartare on a crisp was fresh and lovely but you only get a tiny bite .
The Brioche bun with Morton bay bug delicious a quasi copy of the super normal Melbourne lobster bun , however tiny again !pop in your mouth size !
The crab spaghetti dish was good but I ordered main size for main size price and it came out the size of an entree.
My daughter loved her chicken main dish but was still hungry afterwards .
We all then ordered the soufflé which was cooked to perfection but I prefer ice cream or cream rather than the sour yogurty curd restaurants seem to be serving at the moment . So if you order the soufflé ask for vanilla ice cream on the side .
Overall The restaurant is breezy , service is good , food is good but
It is not value for money and be prepared to have a 3 course meal for $120 pp or go through drive through maccas after !
