One of my favourite spots around caloundra. Nice beach nice restaurants and cafes and a couple of the best fish and chip stores on the coast.

I love Bulcock Beach - the outlook and walking it is fantastic, and jumping in the water and floating down to the sand bar is so relaxing, just love it!

This beach is a lot of fun as when the tide is going out it is possible to get into the water at one end and to float on the currant to the other. It is also very popular with families with small children as the children can play at the edge of the water without being disturbed by waves. There are plenty of picnic areas.

Stopped off briefly as we headed to Brisbane, what a gorgeous beach, full of families playing with their kids, fishing from the pier or walking their dogs or pushchairs along the esplanade & others just chilling on the grassed area, preparing a bbq or taking in the rays, has a lovely cafe culture feel about it & reassuring to see lifeguards on duty, afforded you lovely views over the sea, shame it was such a short visit. Plenty of cafes & restaurants nearby, as it was so busy, parking was a challenge but plenty a couple of streets away, please note most establishments were charging an additional 15% with it being a public holiday, doesn’t cost extra on the beach though. Caught a great image of a bird drinking from one of the water fountains as we were walking along.
