The smell as you enter says it all. Clearly freshly-baked whatever you order. And tastes delicious. We stopped by on a road trip and had a feast of a lunch by a lake a few hours later.

Friendly, one of few choices open between in afternoon. Good value. We had sandwiches a slice, muffin and coffee. All good.

Used them for buying bread rolls and pies for snacks/lunch well priced and good food. You need to get there early in morning as they close after lunch.

We are house sitting in Russell and every week we come to this bakery for fresh bread. Love the dark bread the best!

Approached here tentatively, as some reviews indicated high prices, average product. We only purchased cream doughnuts and sourdough bread. Found both to be of good quality and reasonably priced. Other goods on display appeared to be good value prices to us
