We visited for lunch on a beautiful sunny day and it was a lovely setting sitting outside. We had delicious pizza and wine. Very nice setting with views over the vineyard.

stopped here on the spur of the moment. Covid meant the cellar door wasn't opened. We sat in the restaurant, shared the salmon pizza which was just wonderful and tried the wine flight. The view is sensational and the wines were all excellent, especially the pinot gris and rose.
A must try.

We walked to the winery from the Ferry.
We were welcomed by a very friendly waiter who was super chill, but also very efficient, and helpful, drinks food and dessert were all great, and the scenery was an added bonus, will be back for sure!

Had a very enjoyable lunch at Omata Estate. There platter was excellent for the two of us and My wife loved the Rose wine. We had a nice spot near the pizza oven with beautiful view over the vineyard and sea. Also enjoyed the short easy walk to the point through lovely forest. Would be excellent except we didn't really enjoy the staff talking very loudly about what food box they were using and their general personal lives - quite intrusive.

Visited for lunch based on other reviews and were not disappointed! From the time we walked through the restaurant door where we were greeted/welcomed by a friendly and unpretentious young man until we left, service from all staff was friendly and efficient.
We enjoyed (shared) a pizza (genuine wood fired) which was large and tasty, a sweet platter and a couple of glasses of wine. The view is simply amazing, the rose lovely (chilled beautifully)!! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this relaxed but professional place and would definitely return if we come back to Russell.
