Had a lovely meal. I am coeliac so it can be a challenge. I had the venison knocki which was delicious and gluten free.
My husband had the lamb ribs and bolenaise and profiteroles. All very well cooked and presented.

We had an absolutely delicious meal. The flavours and presentation were excellent. Savouring every bite. We had a large table of 9 people - the service and flow of the evening was brilliant. It was a wonderful evening at The Gables. I highly recommend you eat there! Thanks to the chef and front of house team.

We loved it here so relaxed and calm. Sat outside by the water and the sun came out. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and super efficient. We wished we had our family with us and will certainly be back.It was just what we needed.

What a gem of a place! We had lunch outside, waterside -- no rush, great food, great service (which so rarely happens when you're across the road at a harborside table). We had a really good lunch, drinks, dessert and thoroughly enjoyed everything about both our server, the food and the location. Highly recommend the experience.

We had a wonderful birthday dinner for 8 people which I had organised from the UK. The Italian inspired food was super, the wine was lovely and the service was fantastic. We would definitely recommend The Gables for any meal. It exceeded our expectations. The location is beautiful too, right on the waterfront. If you're in Russell, its well worth a visit, in my opinion.
