The ambiance as you walk in is magical! The passionate fruit sour I had on tap was excellent and the seating in the middle of an oasis is felt like! But the food was only average, we had seen great reviews and ordered all that was recommended, but the fish tacos were only subpar and average and the kumara fries were soggy. I would go again for a beer but not the food unfortunately.

My husband and I had a fabulous rocket pear salad accompanied by tasty cauliflower tacos. Each dish was fresh and flavorful. The staff was friendly and the decor, with growing plant walls and table decor, was unusual and excellent.

Visited this eatery twice whilst in Russell and both times were very satisfied with food, refreshment and service - great selection of Craft beers.

The pizza here is fab and it’s worth adding the extra buffalo mozzarella. The chicken Caesar salad is wonderful the chef even did the bacon crispy for me. The staff are really good very friendly and so helpful. The guy who takes the orders is always chatty and friendly. Also the setting of the restaurant is a bit different yet cosy. There is also take away available. All in all a great experience.
