I am sure that next door at the Marlborough the prices would have been more and certainly would not have been a better meal.

Six chicken nibbles (called wings on the menu but were definitely just nibbles) for $20 ! Drinks were reasonably priced but the portion sizes for all three items we had off the menu were disappointing.
We went 2 times while we were in Russell we ate in the beer garden which had been made a lot nicer with new sails etc the service and food was excellent no chips just food that was beautiful cooked with wonderful sauces we will certainly be back next time we are in Russell
Just had dinner with my brother at the diggers restaurant, RSA Club in Russell NZ.
I had a prawn curry, and Bob had prawns, scallops mushrooms potatoes and corn in a pesto sauce. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and we would recommend it.
Food and service were excellent. Well portioned plate with reasonable price. Definitely go back!!!
