Five nights in January experiencing a depth of relaxation I haven't felt in a long time. As apartment-dwelling city peeps, sitting on The Sanctuary's porch with a beer, staring at a lagoon all day was bliss. The most complex logistics of the day were determining when and what to chuck on the BBQ for meals. We had booked outside activities but cancelled them, preferring to experience the quiet serenity for as long as we could. One afternoon on the porch, a thunderous hailstorm drenched the area for an hour providing much entertainment. The antique furniture was odd to start with, but grew on us. Driving a Nissan Micra along Possum Brush Road is a hilarious experience.
Dog friendly, idylic, looking very forward to returning.More
