Very friendly staff on arrival! We had a room not too far from the pool (very clean) with kangaroos, animal life , wonderfully landscaped with some delicious almonds growing on the trees! woke up to the sound of birds.

Very decent sized rooms! We have 3 kids under 6 and the room was plenty, with a king size bed that was waist high! Comfortable pillows and clean sheets. The cleaners look like they mean business not just quickly doing their job. didnt have that feeling others have been there before you.

Housekeeping was a very surprising extra!

They’ve thought of little things, like mirrors in the tight places, amenities are great. Even mini bar prices were reasonable!

Breakfast was included and we had a choice of Continental or Tuscan (hot breakfast).
Tuscan was WOW!! Huge and delicious both times!

The grounds were really pleasant. There was a table and 2 chairs just outside the room where you can sit. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Very friendly hosts and staff but accommodation was motel style.
Bed wasn’t very comfortable and was soft and lumpy.
The setting is beautiful and the restaurant and bar look great. Food was ok but the service really lets the place down. Very friendly but not trained and it really showed in confused delivery (including getting a gluten free order wrong) and inexperienced serving of drinks (fingers around the cup of the glass when serving).
We were on a Luxury Escapes package for two nights and this didn’t include housekeeping but we asked for, and received, fresh towels every day. The towels were thin and worn. On the third day when we were paying full price I had to argue with reception about housekeeping and the next day about breakfast. We received this but felt we shouldn’t have had to request it. In management’s favour, when I complained afterwards, we were refunded half the cost of the third night.
Jayne was very helpful in getting us tickets for the Hunter Valley Gardens which were fantastic and Kirsty the GM was very helpful and fair, when we subsequently complained.
In short, staff need training and management needs to up their supervision, and the rooms need refreshing.

The room was big, with a king size bed that was almost waist high. It was different and made more enjoyable because it was different from standard modern beds. The mattress was comfy as were the pillows.

The room was a bit stuffy when doors were closed. There was AC but it blew right onto the bed making it quite cold.

Housekeeping was limited to light cleaning and it did not bother us as we were there for 2 nights.

Wifi was atrocious, one code for 1 device and was used very quickly despite light use.

There were also limited power points. We had to use the kettle in the bathroom.

Kara walked us through the terms and conditions very clearly.
