“Highly enjoyable experience ”

We did this because of the reviews and were not disappointed. We didn't initially book for the BBQ lunch however opted on board to pay for it and are soooo glad we did. The cruise itself was lovely taking in the scenery and the historical charm of such a relic steam ship and its workings. The drop off at Walter Peak farm was delightful and we were entertained with a sheep shearing and cattle herding show.....and amazingly clever dogs! The BBQ lunch was not at all what we expected. It was so well organised and set up like a buffet with plenty of salads, roast veg, perfectly cooked meats and desserts all eaten in a grand country style room with a fire place roaring. Highly recommend ...

“Vintage Journey”

I felt like I was going back in time, you could get a great view from the center of the boat of its workings. The boat itself is worth the trip.

This restored steamship is indeed a local gem of an attraction. Highly recommend a sunset cruise on the lake if possible.

“It was fun experience!”
Reviewed October 15, 2015

We rode the TSS Earnshaw ferry and had a beautiful scenery all the way.
Some people went done for lunch at an island.
We went back to town and the pianist, Eleanor was playing the piano!
She would ask the guests their nationality and would play their song, we could sing (they had a song book) as well... it was so much fun!
Luckily, while she was playing a Chinese song, on board was a Chinese soprano and she almost gave us a concert!!! Beautiful chance/bonus! She was so good....

“Travel back in time...”

Classic old steamship that lets you actually hop into the engine room, albeit on a gangway, so you can see the steam engines, boilers and the hardworking stokers.
