A very quiet place, up on a hill so has views in every direction. Free parking, nearby shops and the Botanical Gardens, a bit of a stroll of a 5 minute drive into the city centre. Great conversation, a fine breakfast and delicious evening meal (optional extra cost), a laid back and very friendly Kiwi attitude to life, cats to fuss, sweet birdsong from the bushy gardens, a fascinating old building and a lovely place to be for a few days in this fascinating city. Really thoughtful and considerate approach from the owners, if you are coming to Dunedin and there is a choice between vacancies here or some anonymous Motel, then go for this!More
