Older style motel on the outskirts of Christchurch city. We stayed in room 12 for 1 night in March 2018. Friendly reception. Clean and comfortable, a little bit dated. Great for an overnight stay. Only problem was that the spotlight for the carpark is right outside the bedroom window. Off street parking. Walk to the city. Good value for money.

Many thanks for your comments and for making us aware of the spotlight situation. . Last year the Motel changed ownership so along with that comes a spruce up and Room 12 is next on the list so I will address the curtain situation at the same time.
It was great having you stay with us.
Kind regards, Brony

Stayed at 136 on Bealey for only one night when stopping over in Christchurch.
Brony was extremely accommodating when we requested early check in and was more than happy to help.
Staff were extremely friendly, room was clean and tidy and hotel was in a good location, short drive to CBD. Many coffee shops, restaurants and takeaway places nearby.
Would recommend 136 on Bealey for a cheap and easy stay.

We stayed for 3 nights and our room was very comfortable. Shower was hot with great pressure and the bed was comfy. Could not enjoy the outside patio because it was raining. Good location, a 15 minute walk to town. Thankyou so much for the full ice cube trays in freezer much appreciated for a cold drink.

Room Tip: we were on bottom floor, still next to main road but it was surprisingly quiet.

Really enjoyed our stay at 136 on Bealey Ave. We were a group of 10 & there was plenty of room for us all & we were well looked after by Brony. She was friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back

It was great having you stay with us and we hope the rest of your journey was a pleasant one. With having two Motels on the same street it makes it easy to accommodate all sorts of configurations to suit our guests needs. From compact studios to larger sports groups we have lots of options available and with being so close to the centre of Christchurch is a big plus for those that have a few hours to experience our wonderful city.
We look forward to seeing you again. Brony

We spent three nights here whilst doing things in and around Christchurch. Room was large with good facilities. Not the newest, but clean and beds were pretty comfortable. I can sleep like a log anywhere so might not help much if you are a fussy sleeper. Whether was very warm and the upstairs would get quite hot. We didn't see air con or it was not there, so the only drawback was the warmer rooms, but otherwise good value for money. Won't break the budget and getting into the centre of town is less than a 2 minute drive. Overall a stress free stay, didn't see a lot of there staff, but when we did they were helpful and friendly.

We appreciate your comments and yes we have had an extremely hot summer. All rooms have fans but some of our executive units have air conditioning. We feel very fortunate to be so close to the centre of Christchurch as there is alot to see within walking distances and it is a great way to stretch the body after a very long flight. Love to see you again if you are back this way. Brony
