Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Easy, same level room access. Fabulous view from Sea View room! Quiet neighbourhood. Great breakfast. Thoughtfully placed night lights that are too often missing in B&Bs. Gowns were provided for using the private bathroom next door.

Just finished a 2 night stay here. The two hosts Janice and Brent are extreme hospitable and made our stay very comfortable and warm. The room has a superb view of the beautiful scenery, very value for money!

It is also very near the Ataturk memorial. A very pleasant walk for the mornings. Try this place!

Room Tip: Great view, good prices

We had a lovely stay here and really enjoyed the stunning view from our room. Some past guests have complained about the room and it's location in a house, but keep in mind this is a B&B and that is how they are usually set out. The room was warm and cosy with lots of amenities including tea/coffee, toaster, fridge and a lovely modern bathroom. Out hosts were great and have lots of local knowledge and tips, they also make a mean breakfast and were happy to start earlier for us as we needed to leave by 8am. All in all a great stay.

We've stayed there a few days ago, when we first arrived to WLG airport. Our hosts were extremely polite and made sure to answer all our questions.
The room had a terrific view of the quiet neighborhood and the sea.
Everything was spotless clean and great quality. Robes were offered since the bathroom, for our private use, was just down the hall (like 5 steps away from the room) This caused no inconvenients since there was not any movement there.
Walking 15min from there, there is the Startholme Local where we got great food and drinks at an affordable price on a beautiful place. Apperances from the outside can be deceiving since signs advertise gaming and such. We sat away from the screens showing a football match, near a fireplace and light background music.

Next day, since the B&B is 5min away from the airport but about 15-20min away from downtown, our hosts offered to drop us off on our ferry. This was very much unexpected and much appreciated since it allowed us to check in early the luggage four our ferry, and gave us some hours to walk around Wellington.

Breakfast was very good and great in variety and size. Eggs, cereal, toast, fruits. All freshly made for us. Super happy with it.

Even though the stay was perfect for us , we will never understand why accommodation providers only put one comfortable chair in the room .so one person needs to hang out on the bed.Probably fine for younger bodies but not for us oldies.Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were in a cupboard which had a lot of spare bedding stored in it as well. Breakfast room had a great harbour view and hosts were very nice.We felt the price we paid NZD 135 was a fair price.Simple functional accommodation.
