Needed a cheap one-night stay for myself and 6 year old son and this place was great! Reasonably comfortable bed, TV, 2GB wi-fi as well as tea / coffee all provided. And in a very handy location.
Only small criticism was that the shower cubicles are tiny with no shelf to put anything, making it hard to keep clothes dry!
Notice in room said it can be noisy due to nature of building (it is part of an apartment complex) and location in city but that earplugs were available. However we stayed on Friday night and all was quiet. Perhaps that might not be the case in the summer.

Nobody ever told me that the room had NO WINDOWS at the time of booking.
I could not choose. I will not recommend this hostel to anyone.
You had an opportunity to show that you are good, they are not.
The receptionist is very friendly.

I booked a single room but when I arrived, there was not a room available so they upgraded me to a double room (at the
same price).

The room was clean and well equipped : double bed, tv, tea and coffee, toilet, towels, heater and a fan.

This hostel, situated at the third floor, has a laundry room, a kitchen with 4 tables and a bathroom with showers and toilets.

Reception closed at 5 pm.

Situated in the city center and next to the famous Cuba Street, there is a bus stop for the bus 91 who goes to the airport at 5min by feet (just need to cross the street).

You can also go the Te papa museum by feet (15-20min).

The best hostel in Wellington ! If I come back to Wellington, I will go there for sure !

It is a good place to stay the only thing that wasn't good about it is that the cleaner/cleaners should be using a disinfectant cleaner in the shared bathrooms to make them smell nice and fresh instead of stale and musty. And they need to clean the showers with a nice smelling cleaner aswell as the toilets.

Would never stay here again.
Would never recommend to anyone.
Filthy room. Dirty towels and sheets in the room when I arrived.
Unclean mugs.
The whole place stinks of malodourous food.
Never stay here ever!
