Nice park with good playground for kids and some geothermal activity. There is no fee for entrance so it’s a good deal if you are around and have done the main Rotorua activities.

It is the free nice park near CBD of Rotorua. A lot of thermal activities and pools. If someone don't want to spend money and want to experience the feeling of walking around the thermal valley - this is the place. Many spots for photo opportunities. There is public foot spa area as well as playground for kids too. Highly recommended.

We visited here 14 years ago and were so happy to return to see it is still so accessible and still FREE. We ended up here twice whilst in Rotorua, strolling through to see each little fenced off section, the kids wondering each time what would be inside. The first time we stopped in the large carpark, plenty of space for many cars and large motorhomes and the kids played on the awesome climbing frame while we made lunch. The baths are a great idea and warm - it was only a few degrees in Rotorua so everything was extra steamy! Another day we stopped off early morning, zero degrees outside so the large lake at one end of the park (that you can walk across via boardwalk) was absolutely stunning with so much steam. Plenty to see here, great for a stroll. Make sure you see it all.

Great place to see boiling mud and all kinds of thermal eruptions. Also two places to take your shoes and socks off and dip your feet into thermal waters. Cool, no hot, but cool to feel the hot water - Do not miss and it is free - Thanks to the Rotorua city council.

A great thermal park in the centre of the city, great value as is free to enter and attend. Just watch out for the steam it is HOT, and will burn your skin if you are dumb enough to try and touch it. Good job the hospital is across the road if you do burn yourself.
