Best spot, right by the ocean. Such a shame that the food wasn't at the same level as the location. Expensive too.

Had a very enjoyable buffet for dinner, good selection of food types and cuisines. Reception was excellent and the table service first class, and the waterview was stunning. Also had a cooked breakfast the following morning, which was awesome. The view was made even better with a cruise ship in sight.
We had breakfast included in our room rate. On entering the restaurant you could see the potential it has lovely large windows overlooking the bay, the tables reminded me of a college canteen. On to the breakfast there was very little orange juice left, a tiny amount of fresh fruit on day one then none after that. The buffet cooked breakfast had seen better days a few baked beans left with a skin on them, the sausages looked like they had been there a very long time. Very little bacon left. For toasting it was the thinnest sliced bread so turned the toast into biscuits. It's interesting that this hotel is part of the millennium chain we have stayed at a few on this tour and found breakfast was poor at best running out of food is not acceptable
Rey disappointed with our meal at this restaurant after specifically wanting to dine here. Menu was so-so, pr awn cocktail was very small and no taste, all lettuce. Asked for the creme brûlée as it was supposed to come with hokey pokey ice cream and after checking that it was hokey pokey I got vanilla.
Would not recommend.
We met friends here for dinner, while the food was lovely it certainly did not warrant the high prices for such a canteen style dining area, I ordered the "Venison Pot Pie $24.00 Cooked in red wine served with fresh roast seasonal vegies and pea puree", the pie was lovely but to advertise that it is served with seasonal vegetables is a joke, a teaspoon of pea puree with 3 carrot and 3 parsnip sticks the size of a McDonald fry is equivalent to a garnish not a serving of vegetables.. very disappointed :(
