This was our favorite restaurant in Paihia! The seafood was excellent & the people working there were really friendly. We had a group of 7 people and were comfortably seated at a big outside table. The view out over the water was great!

We went as we got a discount from our accommodation. We'd planned for standard fish and chips but the menu was much more varied (although also more expensive!). The food was tasty and the service good.

Great ambience at this place & staff really helpful & friendly. Large tables which you are encouraged to share with others, order drinks at one bar & food at other counter. No table service; though they do change water jugs & help you take food & drinks to table if there’s too much for one person. Had soup to start which was nice then fish n chips … ‘currie’ sauce was amazing but fish & chips come wrapped in paper - bit of a pet hate of mine, if I wanted them wrapped in paper I’d go to a takeaway & pay less for them! All in all nice place with good atmosphere.

The fish and chips in paper is an old UK thing which I'm sure you're aware of so sorry you didn't appreciate it. It's not a cost thing - can't see why serving in paper would be any cheaper than plating them up - but there you go! Cheers Chester and Louise
Excellent food, the fish burger was amazing, great beers and brilliant vibe to the place, loved the music choices as well!

Awesome fish and chips and Duck Island ice cream to finish ! Lovely space and attentive staff. Great for kids and dog friendly.
