When Paihia is swamped with holiday makers at New years it can take ages to get food served at restaurants so we decided to go to Mr Donburi and it was the best decision ever! Delicious, hot and super fast. Great value and did I mention DELICIOUS?! Will definitely be going back again as a local it’s great to have more options.

Delicious basic donburi, fresh food and clean environment. Dumplings also good. Will extend my knowledge of the offerings on next visit

Our favorite place to eat in Paihia. The shrimp and salmon are cooked to tender perfection. And the dumplings are great.
This has to be the best value in town. I'm extremely impressed. We both had the salmon bento and the salmon was really really fresh - best I've had for a long ling time. Great octopus balls as well and the peach tea was great too. Very friendly and helpful service. Highly recommended
the takoyaki and chips from this place are SOOO GOOD. I love my japanese food and let me tell you it is not easy to find asain cuisine around here! the chef looks professional as always and hopefully i can come back soon!
