After the slightly frosty greeting when we first entered, things did rapidly improve. Despite being pretty near full on a Friday night, the efficiency of the place was staggering. Food was coming out at a pace from the kitchen, often delivered by “Bot”, two of which were operating and complimenting the human serving staff really well.

The staff were friendly and engaging despite obviously being busy and the food was fabulous. We had green curry and beef noodle dishes between us, and both were divine. For us, cost was reasonable too.

Excellent meal! Each of us got a different meal and shared amongst us. All the meals were great. Would eat here again. Highly recommend.

Nice clean restaurant, friendly staff. However, my husband considered his stir fry seafood to be the worst meal he’s ever eaten in a restaurant ( he is 60). My prawn salad (spice rating chosen was ‘hot’ from a choice of mild, medium, hot, extra hot, extremely hot) was very hot to the point I was perspiring and red. Neither meal resembled anything either of us had eaten in Thailand or Thai meals elsewhere. Extremely disappointing meal out frankly. The cashier was kind enough to give us a small discount and a mango drink when I expressed our disappointment, but I have to say we left wishing we’d gone elsewhere. Interestingly, the couple at the table next to us also left most of their meal uneaten.

We arrived after 10 pm and after we explained why - long drive from Cape Regina lighthouse, they took pity and the chef made us a delicious meal. No problems at all - very grateful - thank you.

It was 9pm when we arrived, the restaurant was half full and the closing time was meant to be 10, but it felt like we were intruding. We were directed to sit at a two seater table right in the corner of the room next to the wall, which wasn't at all nice so asked for a different seat, but were then told that wasn't available, it appeared they had readied that for the next evening (an hour before closing!). We then decided to leave, but the owner(?) then said it was OK we could use the table. We ordered the green and red chicken curries and spring roll and chicken satay starters. The chicken for the satay was old and chewy, but the sauce was nice. The spring rolls were Chinese not Thai. I've had a lot of Thai curries and the ones we had here were easily the worst we have ever had. The chicken was the worst cuts of chicken it's possible to imagine. I've never seen chicken as bad as this with a restaurant meal. This wasn't even close to an authentic Thai meal. This was basically pre-cooked chicken pieces, with pre cooked vegetables in a pre made red curry sauce (not particularly nice). Nothing was freshly made. Needless to say neither of us could finish our meal. This was hands down, not only the worst Thai meal I've ever had, but in the top 5 of worst meals ever. It was miles off restaurant standard. When I left I felt I had been conned. I'm still annoyed two days after having this meal.

What I do not understand is how on earth this restaurant has attracted excellent reviews. How could we have had such terrible service, and such awful food whilst somehow others thought it was excellent?
