During our three days in Paihia we focused on the restaurants on the waterfront. CBK proved to be the best of the lot with its varied menu, food quality, good service, and good value. I particularly enjoyed cooking my own meat on the hot rock that is brought to the table (Custom Grill). The coconut chilli lime mussels and mushroom fries were also favourites. The Skillet Cookie is an irresistable dessert, even for we folks who rarely eat dessert.
