We stopped here as part of our Hole in the Rock cruise - beautiful spot, a dolphin was playing in the bay which was so picturesque. Great little spot to relax, can walk to top of hill to viewing platform if you wish.

We visited the Island as part of the Fullers full day Cream Trip. Stunning Otehei Bay for swimming and a walk to the top of the hill for an awesome view is a must. Watching the sheep shearing was a bonus on the day we visited this working farm. Beautiful grounds for a picnic and summer camping is enjoyed by many. Cabins are also available on this pest free Conservation Island full of New Zealand history

This is a great island to explore and the rolling hills are a great walk the view from all parts of the island are always spectacular
