We popped in for lunch and found this a very solid Turkish lunch. Fast and good service, the plate of food received was enough for lunchtime eating. I had an open chicken kebab and Mr had a lamb meze.
We sat by the open windows watching the world go by, a very pleasant lunch time experience.

Note: The restaurant is BYO as they don’t sell alcohol on premise, this is great for evening dining as you can bring your own favourite wine to match!

Will definitely go back to try dishes available only in the evening.

For a healthy snack or meal, try Kilim...takeaways also available. Beautiful flavours, good food, basic but friendly restaurant near centre of Napier. Well priced too, good for families and group functions.

We had lunch today at Kilim and thought it was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious and the fellow who served us was extremely polite and friendly.

I went for a large lamb kebab and my Mrs had the chicken Iskender. Mine was $11 and hers was $14.50. i thought those prices were fine given the quality of the food which was excellent, as well as the portion size which was good. $14.50 for the chicken Iskender which is a full meal is good value, in my opinion.

In addition to the quality of the food, the fellow who served us was very friendly and unlike so many restaurant staff you come across these days, I got the impression that he genuinely cared that we enjoyed the meal. He came and checked her everything was with a degree of sincerity, unlike the robotic question you get in too many eateries these days.

This is great Turkish food at fair prices in pleasant surroundings and with great staff. What more can you ask for? We will most certainly be back!

Very quaint, elegantly decorated with comfy cushions and (best of all) outstanding food! You should really check this one out. We were a group of four and between the Lamb Donner and Mixed Grill - all was delicious and besides, who doesn't love a nice baba ganoush? Seriously nice meal and moderately priced compared to the restaurants over at West Quay.
