I stayed in one of their student rooms with a shared ensuite. Weirdly the joining door between rooms wasn't lockable, even though the bathroom door was. Possibly the lock had been removed in preparation for rennovations.
The single bed was comfortable, but the pillow was wretched. Fluffy until you placed your head on it, then thin and lumpy.
The floor/wing was being rennovated, so there was a very strong paint smell until you got used to it.
The best part was the breakfast catering in the cafeteria organised as part of the conference (not sure if this is available for casual hotel guests). Delicious scrambled eggs and hash browns. On previous occasions when I have stayed the cooking was quite bad, so it was good to see a change.More
